OUR STORY

Bryan Goodwin and Barret Foust first met at Clemson University in 1991 while they were working on receiving their degrees in Construction Science & Management. Prior to graduation, they agreed that they would one day create a business partnership together. They had a long-term plan to create a company that would build upscale residential homes. They agreed that after each of them had gained extensive work experience and developed a large network of contacts within the residential custom building industry, they would then launch their own company.

Bryan, along with his father Alva, and Billy Dunn were well known as Four Square Builders until 2004. At that time Alva retired from the homebuilding business and Bryan and Barret launched Goodwin Foust Custom Homes. The continued success was made possible by business relationships they have developed with some of the finest developers, realtors, vendors, subcontractors, and other key business associates in the Greenville and Lake Keowee Markets.

Bryan and Barret now have over 30 combined years of experience in the residential custom home industry. They are now one of the leading residential custom homebuilders in the Greenville – Lake Keowee markets.
