Manager of all pre-construction elements, including site layout and design, and leading all business development efforts, Barret works hard to make sure that all you’re hoping to have in your new home becomes a reality. His exceptional attention to detail on the front end of a project will make you feel confident and prepared for every upcoming phase of the building process. Barret’s favorite thing about his job is getting to see a home come to life. From the beginning conception stages to construction all the way to move in day. We truly believe we’re not just building a new home, but a legacy that will last for generations. Barret graduated from Clemson University in 1994 with a degree in Construction Science & Management. After working in custom residential construction in North Carolina for 10 years, gaining further knowledge and experience in his field, Barret moved back to South Carolina in 2004 and began Goodwin Foust Custom Homes with Bryan Goodwin. In his spare time, he enjoys watching football, playing golf, fishing, reading and spending time with his wife, Lisha, and their son, Colton.
